Engine Configuration & Warranty
Supplied as a complete long block assembly. Includes a 3-year unlimited mileage parts warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Core Deposit
A $500 refundable core deposit is included. Returned cores are used for our remanufacturing program and must be rebuildable.
- Core must include block, crankshaft, and cylinder head
- Cracked, damaged, or incomplete cores may not qualify for full refund
- $300 fee applies if no usable core is returned
After installation, place your old engine in the shipping container and contact us. Return paperwork will be provided and your core refund processed after inspection.

First 500 miles
Motor was sent fast and arrived well secured. Motor has been running great so far, it sounds and feels BETTER than ever. The folks at Engine Monster are great and answered any questions or concerns I had. You guys really helped me get my 4Runner up and running again after the old motor sadly blew a crank bearing. I can't wait to take it up into the mountains.

outstanding product
The engine is as stated, new engine the only issue that caused me not to award 5 stars was the engine packaging was substandard. packaging was destroyed in shipment. I have ran around 10,000 miles on the engine since it was installed and had no issues. Company personnel were great, pleasure dealing with them. next time I need a Toyota engine I will call them first.

Brand NEW 2.7 liter engine for my Tacoma
After searching (and researching) prices for a used, or rebuilt engine, I found this site. I ordered the engine to be shipped to another state (to a shop where my truck was at the time). Engine Monster quickly shipped the engine, which arrived in good shape. The shop removed the old engine, and swapped over all the necessary parts to the new engine, and installed it. So far, so good. After first 2,000 miles- no problems!
